FRIENDS OF THE MUSEUM

At Museo L’Iber we want to thank everyone who helps and contributes to keep our work of spreading history and culture alive.

Since it opened in 2007, Museo L’Iber has been home not only to the largest collection of toy soldiers in the world, but also to all kinds of cultural events: book presentations, lectures, history courses, art history, literature, languages, yoga, Tai Chi… all aimed at promoting and spreading culture.

As a non-profit organisation, Museo L’Iber is grateful for any contribution that helps us continue our cultural work. Close to a million people have visited the museum and taken part in our activities over the years, thanks to Fundación Libertas 7, our team, our sponsors and you, the friends of the museum.

Benefits of being a friend of Museo L’Iber

• • Free access to the permanent exhibition and to the temporary exhibitions held at Museo L’Iber.

• • An invitation to every opening and event held by Museo L’Iber, such as exhibition openings, book presentations, lectures, conferences and award ceremonies.

• • Priority seating reservations at events.

• • Two free guided tours a year, led by the director on the dates set by the Museum.

• • Discounted, priority enrolment on trips and courses.

• • Discounted, priority enrolment in children’s workshops and educational activities.

• • Access to the Fundación Libertas 7 Library (by prior appointment). Participation in the museum’s Friends Day.

Membership levels

Under Spanish law 49/2002, individuals who have donated part of their income to a non-profit organisation may deduct up to 80% of the first €150 donated in total to this type of entity. Beyond that amount, the deduction is 35%; if you have been donating for more than two years, the deduction rises to 40%.

Each year we can issue you a donation certificate for your contribution, so that you can deduct most of what you have donated from your taxes. We will send you an email to remind you.

Sponsorship

If you would like to sponsor a book presentation, a lecture, a children’s workshop or one for a group at risk of social exclusion, a diorama, a room, an exhibition, or any other of our cultural activities, please get in touch with us.
