Museo L’Iber is also an educational centre. Under the stewardship of Fundación Libertas 7 itself, since its beginnings the Museum has carried out educational and outreach work, not only through its children’s workshops but also through courses for adults and young people, ranging from introductory to advanced level. The classes cover a wide range of subjects: languages, history, literature and art make up our current offering.

Director Alejandro Noguera has for years taught classes on Greek and Roman history, particularly on Alexander the Great and on the Roman Republic. Meanwhile, Antonio Penadés teaches Valencia’s longest-running Creative Writing course, through which more than thirty authors — several of them highly acclaimed — have published their work; the course also features distinguished guest contributors.
