Did you know that the Musical Societies of the Valencian Community have been declared an Asset of Cultural Interest by the Valencian Government and a Representative Manifestation of Intangible Cultural Heritage by the Spanish Government?

These music bands promote, disseminate and dignify the passion, teaching and practice of music. In addition, they encourage community participation and provide a means for the development and cultural expression of society.

Unbelievable but true! In the Valencian Community alone there are more than 40,000 active musicians who participate weekly in these musical communities.
